Netflix Watch Now on my TV. Giddy-Up.

I had a pretty busy day at work today so when I came home for lunch I didn’t have time to read up on the news. When I got home I saw some awesome news. Roku, some company I’ve never heard of but I’m assured it exists, just released their new Netflix Watch Now box for your TV.
I’ve been a Netflix user for years and love their Watch Now service. But I rarely boot into Windows so I’m often screwed out of watching those movies. So the fact that there’s a box that costs $100 and allows you to stream the movies right to your TV. Giddy-Up.
The box can use either wireless or a wired connection. Unfortunately there’s no HD movies, but that’s not because of the box (it supports HD) but Netflix Watch Now currently does not broadcast in HD.
I ordered mine today so I’ll be sure to let you know how it is.

So I am not sure, but did you just get pwned by Microsoft and Netflix?

It’s possible that I got pwned, but it’s really just something that happens to us early adopters. No big deal really. But I will have to see if it’s better on the 360 and then decide if I’m going to ditch the Roku box. I do know for a fact that the Roku box will be much quieter than the 360 due to it not having any fans. It’ll be exciting to see how this will turn out.
